Dalian Insulator Co., Ltd. was established in 1915. It is one of the major enterprises under the Ministry of China. It is mainly engaged in the development and manufacture of high-voltage line insulators. The factory has been supplying insulators to the state¡¯s major transmission and transformation projects since the 1950s. Its products have been sold well at home and exported to over 40 countries and regions.
The area of the factory is 220,000 square meters. Its building area is 130,000 square meters. There are some subsidiaries under the general factory. Such as HV Line Insulator Research Institute, Insulator Cap Factory, Insulator Accessory Factory, Insulator Tool & Model Factory, Composite Insulator Factory and Special Ceramics Factory.
The factory has abundant technological resources, superior manufacture equipment and advanced test methods, as well as perfect quality system which has got the certification of complying with the international standard of ISO 9001 by the independent organization in quality system examination. The factory is able to design and manufacture insulators in accordance with national standard of China and the international standards, such as IEC, ANSI, BS, AS, etc., It is also able to design and manufacture, metal fittings and special ceramic products according to the customer¡¯s requirements. The main products are 40 to 530KN normal type suspension insulators, 70 to 400KN anti-pollution type suspension insulators, 70 to 400KN DC suspension insulators, line post insulators 6 to 46 KV pin insulators, 70 to 100KN ground wire insulators, 35 to 500KV composite insulators, ceramic linear resisters, and silicon controlled rectifier.
